be nosy

I know I know it really has been forever! Things have been a little crazy around here. About a month and a half ago everyone at my work was laid off. So that sucked! I just got back to working last week so money has really been bad. I have been going on a few interviews here and there. I interviewed for Executive assistant for Penny Marshall which went very well. I am waiting to hear back from that, but it is looking really good. Ryan has been doing a lot of freelance work which he loves to do. I am hoping that things start to get better around here… I am sure it will.. we needed a bad patch.. everyone has a bad patch when they first move out here… the bad patch just waited until we were really happy. Whatever everything happens for a reason. I can’t wait to figure out what the reason was. Okay well I will try to write more… I have to get ready for work… Ryan is going to get paid tonight for playing video games… yay! Okay bye for now!

I haven’t been here in quite some time. We officially moved to California in February where I started my job at PIC AGENCY. PIC is a production agency that creates everything from opening title sequences for movies, logos for companies and commercials. Currently I have been working on some big name projects which has been very exciting! I work with the producers by organizing the projects, keep the projects on task and deal with the clients.
When I’m not working we enjoy going hiking and playing on the beach with Guinness. He loves it out here too!!
When we first moved out here we were staying at a friends house for a little bit until we were able to get our own place. We just moved into our new apartment about 2 weeks ago. We love it! Its just perfect. I will load up some photos soon!!

So we finally did it! We made the move to California!! We drove across the country with my car and a rental truck!!! It was a long trip… two days after we arrived I found out that I got the job @ Pic Agency. I started that Thursday… I feel like it is all a little bit over my head, but I feel like it will get better. Guinness loves it out here shock shock!! We took him to a canyon dog park where he got to run all over the place with a bunch of other dogs. He had a blast!! I’ve been a bit under the weather, but you’ll have that I guess. I’ll post some photos soon!!!

Ok so we are home in Cincinnati right now packing up our things for the big move! We are leaving on Tuesday for California! I’m really excited about this move. I think it is going to be really good for us!
When we came home Guinness was so happy to see us! He looked really skinny and really big! It is weird not seeing him for two weeks, I miss him so much!! I’m happy that we won’t be leaving him again!
My interview on Monday went really well! They told me that I’d be getting a call this week, otherwise I would have to make sure to call them. I received an email from them today asking me to call them when I get into California which sounds good (I hope), but I’m not going to get my hopes up until I start the job.
So I’m ready to get going! Tomorrow we are going to do dinner with my dad side of the family. Saturday will be spent with my Mom’s side of the family. Then on Sunday we will be at Ryan’s family’s house. Which is always a good time!

We have been here for two weeks looking for jobs and apartments which we haven’t found either. The nice thing is we are going to be staying at Steffi’s boyfriends apartment for a little while till we find a place and a job. Tomorrow I have a job interview with Pic Agency . I’m a little nervous. It would be great if they gave me the job! I would be so happy… I was told that the first 3 months were going to be the most difficult so I just want to get through it. We love it out here! Even if it takes a while to get a job that we actually dig I think its worth being out here.

I’m going to miss everyone… which stinks, but that just means that people need to come out for a fun filled visit! I think this move is going to be good for us. We fly back to cincinnati on Tuesday then we are planning on loading up a truck and leaving Monday. I know its quick, but its what we have to do. I’m ready to do this!

On another note my mother is giving me the worst time about the move. She is trying to make me feel horrible about moving out here. Which is great really… I think she thinks that by giving me a guilt trip it will make me not want to leave so soon… The thing she doesn’t understand is that with her acting like this (once again) she is just making it that much easier to leave. I’m going to miss watching Zoe grow up, I’m going to miss hanging out with Grandpa and playing cards with Grandma. I’m going to miss seeing Bella and Connor so yeah I will miss everyone, but its just going to be easier for me to leave when I have people acting the way she is acting.

Anyhoot, I’m excited! I’ll keep you guys updated on our move!

Ok so we officially leave for LA on January 14th. I am really excited about it, the only thing is that we have so much work to do before then. I have to put as much stuff as I can into our storage unit, Re-do my resume, maybe put together some type of website. I don’t know. Either way I am just so happy to know that we actually have a set date. We are going to fly out there first to look around find a job a place and what not then we are going to fly back home pack up a truck w/our stuff and our dog and head back out there!!

In other news ZOE my new little cuz-niece just keeps getting cuter and cuter!!! I’m going to post some photos of her that we just took this past Sunday at our family Christmas. Our Family christmas was a good time. Ryan and I got this beer bottle opener that hangs on the wall. Its pretty sweet!! It says, “Irish Medicine” and when you pop off the cap it falls into the beer mug. Its really cool I’ll take a photo of it. It will look great in our bar!!

I don’t even know the last time I wrote on this blog. I have been so busy it is crazy!! Ryan and I are still traveling around with ESPN having a blast! We are getting closer and closer to moving out to LA!! Guinness is still as crazy as always.
The big news is that I am a Cousaunt!! Thats right Zoe was finally born!! She is the cutest gosh darn baby around!! I’ll post some photos soon!!
Over Thanksgiving I went up with Ryan to spend a few days with his family!! It is always a blast hanging out with the Flinns!! We also got a Wii this past week! So when we are home that is all we are doing… Not that we are home very often… I must say I am getting excited about moving to LA, but now that we have been seeing more of Colleen Nate and Zoe its going to be hard to leave. Im going to miss out on watching Zoe grow and that kinda sucks!! I hope that they will come visit me and I know that I will be back to visit as much as I can!!

So since the last time we talked so much has changed! I’m still working at Blockbuster (that is going great). The people at Blockbuster are a blast to work with so I am having fun with that.
Colleen is due any day now (WHICH IS CRAZY EXCITING!!!) I can’t wait to finally get to meet Zoe!!
Like I said in my last post I worked the NFL Monday Night Game! This was awesome!! In fact this weekend we are working for them again. Not only that we are also going to be traveling with ESPN’s Monday Night Football show. We are going to Atlanta, Pitt, Buff and SD! This should be a great experience! It already has been!

So I am working for blockbuster for a few months until we move out to LA. I haven’t started yet that will be on Thursday. I also will be working the ESPN Bengal’s Game on Monday night. Man I am tired of being here in Cincinnati. I can not wait to start making money so we can save it and get out of here!!

So for anyone who doesn’t know that my cousin Colleen is expecting she is now only 5 weeks away from popping out a kid! It is so exciting to think about!! She said that some mothers with pregnancy diabetes usually come early so it could be only 3-4 weeks away!! I can not wait for Zoe to finally get here!!

So today I went shopping with my grandmother. I talked her into getting herself an MP3 Player!! Ryan and I have been spending all night filling her player with music that she can walk and workout to! I think I’m more excited about this than she is, but she is always so worried about everyone else that she never gets herself anything.

Anyhoot, I am going to go pass out now. I am so sleepy! What a day! PS did I mention how great my dog and boyfriend are. We don’t have much right now other than each other and well I couldn’t ask for anything more. All we need are each other which is the greatest feeling ever!

So I feel like I haven’t posted a thing in forever!! So lets see what happened since the Harry Potter movie came out. I read the last and final hp book. Hanging out, being lame… oh I know Ryan and I spent a week at the Farm!! It was the best week that I’ve had in a long time!! It was an amazing time I tell ya!! Guinness went with us too!! He had a blast!! The first five minutes we were there he was swimming in the pond. That is pretty much how he spent most of his week. If he wasn’t swimming in circles he was running all around the farm!
I don’t know what it was about that farm. You were out in the middle of nowhere, sleeping in a tent, showering w/pond water and sitting up all night by the camp fire.
We have been back for about 3 weeks now. We had another wedding on Saturday!! Everything went great even when I thought that it wouldn’t. At times things felt a little confusing, but in the end it was one of the most fun weddings I have ever been to. I almost wished that we were guest instead of working it.
We finally set a date for moving out to LA!! We are going to be gone by Janurary 2nd!! This way we can be with our families for Christmas and the New Year!!
I must say I am sorta happy that we aren’t leaving before Colleen has her baby! I am so excited about this baby!! I swear we have been talking about this day since we were little girls!!! I wish that we were as close as we use to be, but I guess things happen through life that make people either grow closer together or further apart. I love her more than anything and I think that is all that matters now.
Ryan and I are great!!!!!!!!! Guinness rocks the house 24-7!!
Im just so happy that I have found someone who gets along with my family & I am 100% happy&in love w!!! Im a dork!!!!!
